You can easily do your holiday booking online, but if you have any queries about our holiday cottages or would prefer to book with us directly, you can fill in our enquiry form, send us a direct email or give us a call on +44 (0)7794 738 403‬.

STEP 3: Paying for your holiday booking

To book your holiday, a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking cost is required, with the remaining balance payable 4 weeks prior to your holiday start date. For reservations made within 4 weeks of arrival, payment will be required in full at the time of booking.

The ‘Book Now’ button on each cottage page leads to a secure payment portal so that you can book any time of the day or night.

Bank Transfer or Cheque

Should you wish to make a bank transfer or pay by cheque, we will provide you with the required details in the confirmation email you receive after booking and will provisionally hold the cottage for up to a week whilst we wait to receive the payment.

Holiday Booking Confirmation

Whether you’ve booked online or contacted us directly to make a booking, you will receive a confirmation of your booking via email. If you haven’t paid the deposit at the time of booking online, the email will also contain details of how to pay by bank transfer or cheque. Please check the details of your booking set out in the email and advise us immediately if any amendments are required.

The cottage is now secured for your stay with us, and your balance is payable 4 weeks prior to arrival (for bookings made within 4 weeks of arrival, payment is required in full upon booking).

What happens next?

You will receive an email approximately 2 weeks before the balance is payable reminding you it is due, providing details of how to pay and, if you have booked the larger cottage, confirming how you would prefer the bedrooms to be set up.

Attached with the email will be an Arrival Information sheet that will give you an idea of what you do and don’t need to pack for your holiday and how to find us, together with a form for you to order food for your arrival.

No. All heating, hot water and electricity is included, and we do not charge for dogs. The only additional payments will be for any food or logs purchased during your stay.

Please note breakages and other damage will be charged for and if extra cleaning is required over and above the normal, there will be a charge for this, please see our terms of booking for more details.

Due to its spiral staircase and mezzanine level sleeping area with railing, Hen Ffermdy is not suitable for toddlers. Babes in arms are welcome and we can provide a cot.

No. Hen Ffermdy is a pet free cottage. We accept dogs in the three bedroom cottage, Cwt Mochyn, and offer a part occupancy discount for bookings by couples using one bedroom – see our Offers page for more details.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will need to contact us with any changes. We will do our best to accommodate the requested changes. If you have booked Cwt Mochyn cottage on a part occupancy basis and wish to increase the number of guests, an additional charge will apply. A change of date may also incur an additional charge if the new dates fall within a different seasonal weekly rate.

Our standard check-in time is 3:00 p.m. If you would like to arrive earlier, please contact us and we’ll do our best accommodate your request. We will usually be here to greet you on arrival and hand you the keys. If we are not able to be here, we will leave the keys in the cottage door.
