By road

If you intend to use satnav, the post code you need is SY23 5NP. We have found that satnav systems tend to direct you towards Moelfryn Mawr further up the road from Banceithin, so we suggest that once you are off the main road you also refer to the map or written directions provided here. The nearest train station is Aberystwyth (only a 25 minute drive from Banceithin), which connects with other mainline stations via Birmingham New Street, Birmingham International and Wolverhampton. Regular direct trains normally run every two hours between Birmingham and Aberystwyth via Shropshire and Mid Wales.
The National Express 420 service runs direct to Aberystwyth from London via Birmingham and Shrewsbury. Coach services to Aberystwyth also run from other towns in Wales, such as Cardiff, Swansea and Wrexham, and some towns in England, such as Shrewsbury and Chester.
We are happy to provide a collection and drop off service from/to Aberystwyth at no extra charge for guests wishing to travel to Banceithin by train or coach. You can either pre-order groceries or, if you prefer to do your own shopping, we can take you to the supermarket in Aberystwyth on your arrival. Please let us know when booking if you will require this service.
